Cheekwood Mansion and Botanical Gardens in the Belle Meade Section of Nashville, TN.  This was part of the Maxwell House coffee millions as the coffee gained popularity in the United States and was the number one coffee  until the 1980s.

Gingerbread House structures were supplied by a Local Bakery as well as the piping bag containing the frosting that acts as the adhesive to glue all the individual candy pieces to the gingerbread house. The frosting was a surprise and worked very well both drying when it needed too and staying liquid inside the bag.

Moving along quite well as our second grader gets the hang of what is expected.

The completed gingerbread house in a little over an hour of fun and tasting individual pieces of candy and icing.  They also provided an appropriately sized box to carry your treasure/decorated gingerbread house to your home without damage.

There were approximately 50 people attending each decorating session. Two sessions on Saturday and Sunday over the 4 weekends between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Approximately 400 families had the opportunity to decorate their own gingerbread house.

Outside the Massey Auditorium, was a fenced area, with two Reindeer who were on display as part of the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens to be enjoyed by all. They were very tame and approached us as we arrived.
