About the Recipe: Chicago’s South Side Pilsen Brewery was open for about 29 years, even during the Prohibition Era. The area has always been home to many ethnic cultures. This recipe was one of the neighborhood favorites. Sweet, soft top-slit buns are filled with lightly spiced chili, beer simmered hot dogs, fresh crunchy relish, and then drizzled with avocado cream and bright yellow mustard. It’s a Fiesta of Hot Dog Flavors!
Prepare Hot Dogs: For each hot dog, spread about 4 Tablespoons chili mixture over the inside of bun. Remove 1 hot dog from beer; place over chili. Generously spoon Fiesta Relish on both sides of hot dog.
Drizzle the top with Avocado Cream Drizzles; top with Mustard Drizzles as desired. Repeat above steps for each hot dog.
Serve remaining Fiesta Relish as a side dish with scoopers and any remaining chili in a side bowl. Serves: 4
