Apple Pie Dowdy
Bursting with sweet spicy apples and covered with easy-to-make sparkling sugar crust.

About the Recipe: This is an updated version of a single crust fresh apple dessert. The haphazardly cut crust is shingled onto the filling before it’s baked. Precooked apple syrup blends the flavor throughout the dessert, adding multi-sweeteners which enhance the apple slices, and a ready-made refrigerated crust makes it so easy to prepare. It’s an old classic turned and twisted into a new favorite fall dessert.

A single serving in an elegant dish and a dab of whipped cream can upgrade the dessert to a more formal party level.

Mamma Mia! Red Pepper and Burrata Burgers
Roasted red peppers, Italian sausage and Parmesan add awesome flavor.

About the Recipe: The recipe was over-the-top delicious with a wonderful blend of Italian flavors. It was like taking a quick trip to Italy. The burgers were tender with a surprise spicy Italian sausage taste and placed on mayo covered crisp baby arugula and basil greens. Autumn Goulash Stew
Instant Pot easy Swiss-German favorite with sautéed baby spinach

About the Recipe:  Goulash is a hearty dish that can be prepared with chunks of pork or beef. It’s a little like a soup and a stew. The broth is a little thicker, flavored with caraway seeds, a sweet apple, and uses a generous amount of paprika. Hungarian paprika has a vibrant red color and rich flavor. Some are hot while others are mild. We even like to sprinkle a little smoked paprika over the finished dish. It’s delicious served with some sautéed spinach and egg noodles.
